Dedicated to the development, certification, and sales of products designed to enhance the performance, safety, comfort, and ease of use of the Pilatus PC-12.
The advanced engine technology of the Pilatus NG series is now available to operators of pre-NG Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. Finnoff Aviation Products holds the FAA-certified STC for the Pratt & Whitney (P&W) engine upgrade.
The latest P&W PT6A engine technology has been used for the development of the PT6A-67P engine, including new metallurgy for higher temperatures, Single Crystal CT Blades, and the new compressor that came out of the 41,000 foot altitude 67A development program.
The newly-designed Accessory Gear Box allows Dual 300 Amp generators. The improved electrical system accepts the second 300 Amp generator, with full power on Bus 2 and the 140 Amp cross-tie breaker to the Primary Bus.
An improved Engine Instrument System (EIS) box, which displays the new higher engine limits.
Included in the STC is a new enlarged NACA Scoop for generator cooling, the second 300 Amp generator.
Qualifies for P&W Engine Service Plan. The ESP from Pratt & Whitney provides guaranteed long-term engine maintenance cost; accurate budgeting and forecasting; and enhanced aircraft resale value.
Better performance permits the user to reach high altitudes more quickly, getting above inclement weather and potential icing conditions. Faster direct climb to 30,000′ at any weight and temperature.
FAA STC #SA02266LA to Finnoff Aviation Products, LLC: May 7, 2012. Certified – FAA, EASA, TCCA, DGCA.
Chief Pilot at Pixie Air Ltd., Patrick Reilly, describes the benefits experienced by adding Finnoff performance products to his aircraft.
Less vibration, less noise, unlimited blade life.
The Silent 7 MT-Propeller has now received its Supplemental Type Certification (STC) from the FAA!
MT Propeller is an industry leader. In 1999, shortly after the introduction of the Pilatus PC-12 with its 4-bladed propeller, MT began to develop a 5-bladed propeller for the PC-12 and general aviation. Due to its significant improved performance, the 5-bladed propeller eventually became the industry standard and was copied by competing propeller manufacturers. The Pilatus factory began delivering the PC-12 with a 5-bladed propeller as standard equipment. In 2016, following up on the success of the 5-bladed propeller, MT began work on a 7-bladed propeller. It is now available and on track to become the newest industry standard. This propeller can replace the original 4 bladed or 5 bladed propeller delivered with the PC-12, providing many performance improvements.

Upgrade your aircraft with a new five-bladed propeller package. Finnoff Aviation Products is the exclusive North American (USA, Canada, and Mexico) distributor for MT-Propeller’s Pilatus PC-12 airplane propeller, as well as the USA distributor for their Beechcraft propeller. These advanced propellers provide you with many performance improvements. Included in the STC is a new enlarged NACA Scoop for generator cooling, the second 300 Amp generator.
“A primary determinant of propeller noise is the tip speed. The shorter blades of a five-bladed propeller reduce this speed, as well as the cockpit and cabin noise.” – MT Propeller

Improve safety, tame extreme cold, and prolong engine life.
Finnoff Aviation Products has obtained FAA approval for a Lithium Ion Battery in the Pilatus PC-12!
Regarding Starting Power, the True Blue Li Ion Battery significantly surpasses all other batteries approved on the PC-12. Greater Starting Power means faster starts which means cooler starts, significantly lowering the possibility of a hot start.
The TB40 monitors internal temperature and has an internal heater. The battery temperature is maintained at a level that provides a powerful start.
Don’t be fooled by the initial cost of the battery. Life cycle cost is what matters and the TB40 compares very favorably in that regard.
Finnoff Aviation Products has obtained FAA approval for a dual lead-acid battery system for Pilatus PC-12/45 and PC-12/47 aircraft.
In the event of an engine failure, or dual generator failure, the single battery PC-12 can supply power for 20 minutes if the load is reduced below 60 amps. The Finnoff Aviation Products Dual Battery System will double, or more than double, the time you have with electrical power to deal with your emergency and land safely; up to 45 minutes of electrical power with the high capacity RG380E/60L option (68 minutes if the load is reduced below 50 amps).
During rapid “turn-around” of an aircraft in hot weather it may be necessary to “dry motor” the engine prior to start-up for the next leg of your journey. This process involves turning the engine, using only battery power, in order to force cooling air through it. Unfortunately, “dry motoring” the engine can deplete the battery to the point that it doesn’t have sufficient energy left for an efficient start once fuel is introduced. This can cause the exact problem you were trying to avoid – a hot start or aborted start. Our Dual Battery System allows for much higher remaining battery capacity after “dry motoring”, greatly improving the likelihood of a good start.
The Dual Battery System provides higher starting power leading to faster, therefore cooler, engine starts. This prolongs engine life. Dual RG-380E/44 batteries increase starting power (watts) by about 25%. Dual RG-380E/60L batteries yield about 50% more starting power vs. a single RG-380E/44.
The higher capacity and higher starting power provided by the Dual Battery System greatly increases the likelihood of a successful engine start in extreme cold.
The Concorde RG380E/44 and RG380E/60L batteries are both approved for this installation. Only these Concorde lead acid batteries are acceptable.
The dual battery kit is only available through authorized Pilatus Service Centers. Suggested retail price, not including batteries, is $41,080.00. Batteries can be purchased from the Service Centers and Service Center installation charges will apply.
Enhanced readability and safety while minimizing weight.
